A green HPLC method for the determination of apixaban in pharmaceutical products: Development and validation

Abstract Apixaban (APX) is a novel anticoagulant drug used in the treatment of ischemic stroke and venous thromboembolism. In this study, two different chromatographic methods were developed for determination APX pharmaceutical products. first method, an Agilent C18 column (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 μm) was used, temperature kept constant at 30°C. The mobile phase chosen to be 0.1% trifluoroacetic acid solution acetonitrile (65:35, v/v), isocratic elution applied. flow rate found 1.0 mL·min −1 injection volume 20 µL. detection carried out wavelength 276 nm using UV detector. second ethanol as organic modifier. only difference between these All other conditions same. Both validated accordance with ICH guidelines various parameters such selectivity, linearity, accuracy, precision, quantification limit, robustness. coefficients greater than 0.999 concentration range 5–30 mg·mL APX.
